With Chili Piper's Gong integration, you can enable customers to select a Gong consent link as the location for a Meeting. To do this, log in to Gong as an admin and browse your Organization Settings. The "Recording consent" option is under the "Data Capture" section: ![mceclip0.png](https://help.chilipiper.com/hc/article_attachments/28452941023635) From there, you will want to completely configure how you want Gong Consent set up, including the conference provider, whether the links are dynamic, and any custom logos or text you want to appear on the consent page: ![mceclip1.png](https://help.chilipiper.com/hc/article_attachments/28452954965139) ![mceclip2.png](https://help.chilipiper.com/hc/article_attachments/28452941027603) Once this is all configured, you should see the connected status on the Recording consent page: ![mceclip4.png](https://help.chilipiper.com/hc/article_attachments/28452941043091) ## ### Calendar and Video-conferencing Integration in Gong To ensure all users can be correctly mapped and take benefit from the Gong <> Chili Piper integration, **they must to integrate calendar and at least one video-conferencing tool connected in Gong.** After ensuring this and following the steps listed in the Recording Consent Setup in Gong section, you should be ready to integrate Gong in Chili Piper and map your users. These are explained in the next sections. * * * ## Integrating Gong in Chili Piper 1. Head over to the [Command Center Integrations page](https://fire.chilipiper.com/fire/admin/integrations) **![](https://help.chilipiper.com/hc/article_attachments/28452954980755)** 2. You will be prompted to log in to Gong and accept the permission scope:![mceclip3.png](https://help.chilipiper.com/hc/article_attachments/28452954992275) 4. The users' list will automatically refresh periodically, but you also can click the "Manage Users Mapping" to check your current users and ensure they are mapped to the correct Gong account. This mapping should be automatic from Chili Piper's side if we identify users with the same e-mail in Gong as in Chili Piper. We recommend double-checking it, as sometimes **users may have different emails between each platform**. **If a user is NOT connected to Zoom or their calendar (Google/MS) IN Gong directly** , they are deemed "invalid" and will NOT appear in the user mapping list. They are not able to be mapped until they have those connections in Gong. ### Mapping Users The correct mapping needs to be in place for the integration to work properly. Click the three dots and Manage Users Mapping to start mapping your users. If any users are not being displayed in the Mapping page, double-check if you and them followed the requirements mentioned in the Setup Requirements section. ![](https://help.chilipiper.com/hc/article_attachments/30131380814355) Something important to mention is that users do not need to establish their personal Gong integration in Fire as they were used to do in Legacy, as users are automatically mapped once the integration is completed from an org's level. ### Disconnect If you need to disconnect, once connected, you will see a "Disconnect" button within Gong's integration in the [Command Center Integrations page](https://fire.chilipiper.com/fire/admin/integrations) ![](https://help.chilipiper.com/hc/article_attachments/28452941060243) * * * ## Updating Meeting Templates and Reminders Now that you've successfully integrated your Gong account, you can update your Team's **Meeting** **Types** and **Reminders** to include Gong links if you would like to! ### Meeting Types Gong should be an available option within your Meeting Types' Location field, as shown below: ![](https://help.chilipiper.com/hc/article_attachments/28452955004307) If you would like to replicate the link in your Meeting Type's description, you can use the CP.Meeting.Location dynamic tag to collect the value on the Location field, and replicate it over there: ![](https://help.chilipiper.com/hc/article_attachments/28452941064723) ### Reminders Similar to Meeting Types, you would need to use the CP.Meeting.Location dynamic tag to collect the value on the Location field and replicate it on your Reminder's body. * * * ## Gong and Zoom To connect Gong to your Zoom account successfully, you need to be a Zoom admin. **Note** : The integration will disconnect if the person who sets up the integration ceases to be a Zoom admin later. 1. In your company settings page (in Gong), click **Web Conferencing**. 2. In the **Zoom** row, click **Settings**. 3. Click **Connect**. 4. Follow the instructions: sign in to your Zoom account, and authorize access to Zoom. Note: You must be the Zoom administrator for your company to connect Gong to Zoom. Only one Zoom account per company is supported. When you connect to Zoom, we install a Gong for Zoom app instance in your Zoom account, and ask for the following permissions: * View and manage all user meetings * View and manage all user recordings * View all users' Zoom Rooms information * View and manage all users To see how to **Enable Native Zoom Recording** , [**here**](https://integrations.gong.io/integrations/zoom) is the Gong article with all the steps to set it up. * * * ## What happens if a meeting is canceled, rescheduled, or reassigned? If a meeting is canceled, rescheduled, or reassigned, Chili Piper will update the Gong meeting directly to keep your meetings in line. * * *
