Chili Piper supports customizable labels in Data Fields. These smart parameters make it easier to reference fields in Scheduling links or Router URLs. This means you can pass all the necessary information for tracking within the URL. This article outlines how smart parameter labels work, how to configure them, and the benefits they offer.

## Example Use-Case

Adding smart parameters to your links allows you to pass data between apps, automate workflows, or personalize links. For example, we can skip a form by passing the information needed in the URL.

**Example**

1\. Grab your Scheduling link in your Chili Piper account. This can be a Router link or a Scheduling link. Below, we've included a scheduling link with a Form attached, which asks for the following information: First Name, Last Name, Email, and Company Name.

2\. Now, we can add the smart parameters to the link. You can find each one in the Data field you are passing. Below, we are grabbing the company name Smart parameter label.

3\. Next, you can add all the Smart Parameters to the Scheduling link URL. When adding multiple smart parameters, you will start with a **?** and add a **&** between each additional parameter.

**Example Link - In bold, the Smart Parameters are added**

    https://YOURDOMAIN.chilipiper.com/shared/USER/book-with-ally?personfirstname=liz&personlastname=pouya&personemail=liz@chilipiper.com&companyname=HotChili

4\. Load your link, and the Form data should be prefilled, allowing you to skip the form altogether. All you have to do is confirm the meeting!
