⚠️ **Do you sign in with SSO/SAML?** The steps below are not for you.

The steps on this page apply only if you sign in to Chili Piper directly with your Google or Microsoft (Office 365) account.

If your organization uses SSO/SAML (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Google SAML, or any other identity provider), do **not** change your email by signing in with the new address. Chili Piper currently matches SSO users by email, so signing in with a renamed email will create a new empty account and leave your data on the old account.

Instead, contact support@chilipiper.com or your Customer Success Manager before your identity provider changes the email, and we will help you with the process.

If you sign in directly with Google or Microsoft (Office 365) and need to update the email name on your Chili Piper account, please follow the steps below. 

This applies only to changes to the email name, not the email domain (e.g., jane.**doe**@acme.com -> jane.**smith**@acme.com). If your organization uses SSO/SAML, see the warning above - do **not** follow these steps.

## How to change your email

**1. Go to the**[**Welcome to Chili Piper**](https://fire.chilipiper.com/)**page and choose your sign-in provider.**

**2. Sign in with your new email address. Once you complete sign-in, your Chili Piper account will be updated with the new email.**
