Here are some ways you can spice up your sequences and your qualified sales appointments with Chili Piper:
1. Get your prospect to accept your meeting invite while you’re on the phone
Once you get a prospect on the call, send the meeting invite in two clicks. And have them accept the meeting. Studies show that once a prospect took some action in your favor (as small as confirming the invite) – the likelihood of them taking more steps in the same direction is higher.
Chili Piper inserts a button in Outreach linking to the right calendar (the SDR for their own meetings or the Account Executive for handoff meetings). A meeting template pre-fills all the details, including the corresponding video conference info. The meeting invite is sent natively from Google/Outlook Calendar. Once you experience this power, you won’t want to book meetings in any other way.
Best of all, the meeting is created in Salesforce simultaneously, with all the correct information assigned to the right rep, the right lead, or the right contact.
This saves 10 minutes per meeting booked on average.
2. Make it fun and easy for prospects to book a meeting
We are all motivated by progress and task completion. It’s why most of us like games so much. We like to see how we progress. Our brains get a boost of endorphins when we capture Pokemon or complete tasks. In the same fashion, prospects want to click on the suggested meeting slots in the Outreach emails because it’s fun and gets things done. Upon clicking, they get the meeting invite instantly in their inbox. And because they get some extra endorphins points, they accept the invite on the spot too.
3. Restrict your booking interval
For most of us, the most important things that need attention happen within one week. The next quarter is always in a different box in our minds. Best salespeople already know this, and they take advantage by creating the “deal momentum”. They make sure the time slots they propose are within reach. Some clients in the small business space go as far as limiting the booking span to 48 hours. Deals move faster in the real world.
4. Create smart templates
Emergencies do happen, so it sometimes happens that prospects don’t show up to meetings. Make sure you have a smart sequence in place for this scenario. If a meeting gets marked as a no-show, automatically activate the awesomeness and get those prospects back in business.
Example template for first step:
Set up a "No show" sequence
Create a trigger
Trigger action to add to sequence
5. Include calendar links in your signature
You can make it easier for your customers to reach you and add a calendar to your signature. You can add your own URL (visible in your Booking Links page) or a team queue URL (provided by your Chili Piper admin). The URL should contain the following parameter at the end to allow your prospects to book a meeting in one click.
?id={{email}}
See example below:
The same structure can be used in the body of the email, in an email template.
When the prospect books a meeting in one click because they are automatically recognized – the conversion rates are dramatically improved.
6. Stop a sequence when a meeting was booked
When a meeting is booked through Chili Piper a particular pre-set field on the lead/contact is changed. See which optional Salesforce fields can be added via our custom Salesforce fields page.
Use these fields as a trigger in Outreach to stop your sequences smartly:
7. Automate your reminders
Setup three important reminders:
- One day before, if the meeting was not yet accepted
- One hour before
- 1 minute before with the conference details
You’ll manage your no shows like never before.
