Sometimes, in your meeting types or reminders, your dynamic tags for your prospects (e.g.
{!CP.Guest.FirstName}
or {!CP.Guest.Company}
are not showing up. What's going on?
There are several possible causes:
1. You are booking via the Instant Booker and the prospect is not in your CRM yet
This is by far the most common cause for this problem. If the prospect is not in the CRM when you book via the browser extension or via the calendar popup, the fields won't populate. That's because the app doesn't know who your prospect is
If any of the prospect information is appearing blank within the Instant Booker's title, location, description, etc., you can bet that this will also be blank when the invite is sent to the prospect.
If you fill this information manually, your reminders will still not contain the prospect information. This is because we rely on the dynamic tag value and not manual entries.
To fix this: Make sure you add your prospects in Salesforce or HubSpot CRM before you book a meeting.
If the prospect doesn't exist in the CRM, we will show an intermediary screen to allow you to add the prospect. Click the red "x" icon to add prospect information. Doing so will create the prospect at the time of booking.
2. You are booking via Instant Booker and are adding a colleague (or yourself) as your first guest
Your first guest is a teammate, not your prospect.
To fix this: Make sure you add your prospect as a guest first and teammates second.
3. Some dynamic tags require integrations
Dynamic tags that relate to a contact method often require the integration to be connected and working first.
For example, if you use {!CP.Assignee.Zoom} to provide your Zoom tag automatically, but the assignee does not have their Zoom account connected, or they have not been properly authorized in Zoom, this tag may show up blank in the resulting invite.
The same can be said about any of our video conference providers such as Gong, GoToMeeting, RingCentral, etc.
Ensure you have a connected integration and meet the minimum password requirements for that app.
