You can reschedule or reassign meetings to other people from your team straight from the calendar invite. The reschedules and new assignments will be reflected directly in Salesforce.

How do I reschedule a meeting?
Suppose you or your customer needs to change the time of a meeting. In that case, it's best to reschedule the meeting either directly in the Google/Outlook calendar or via the meeting reschedule link within the meeting template.

How do I reassign a meeting?
You can reassign meetings directly in Chili Piper or via other software solutions, depending on your "tech stack".
The reassign functionality will:
- Cancel the original calendar invite from the previous owner and will create a new calendar event for the new owner
- Update the Salesforce Event assignee from the previous owner to the new owner
- Update the calendar invite and Salesforce Event date/time
- Send an updated meeting invitation to all guest(s) on the invite
- Update the Round Robin totals to reflect a meeting being deducted from the current owner and added to the new owner's total (if being booked into a queue with >1 rep
Settings & Prerequisites
Before starting the reassign process, there are some settings and prerequisites that need to be done to ensure the functionality will work as expected.
Allow Assignees to Reassign Meetings
After accessing the required workspace, within the left-hand side menu, click "Extensions" and use the option below:
Enable Third-Party Cookies in your Browser
Within Chrome, access your Cookie settings by typing the following in the URL field and hitting Enter or return: chrome://settings/cookies
Once the settings load, expand the "Third-party cookies" section, and select the "Allow third-party cookies" as shown below:
If you are still unable to see the Reassign option within your email provider or Salesforce, we also advise clearing cache and cookies from all time in your browser.
How do I reassign a meeting in the Chili Piper Dashboard?
Super Admins and Queue-Related Meetings
This feature is only available to Chili Piper Admins and only works on meetings booked from a queue.
- As an admin, navigate to your workspace dashboard and locate the meeting.
- Select "Open.", and then select the "Reassign Meeting" icon in the upper right corner in the meeting details.
3 - A new window will open, listing other reps in the queue. You will be unable to select reps who are unavailable at that time, and they will be marked with the following icons:
Select an available rep, and a confirmation window will open. Select "Confirm."
How do I reassign a meeting in Salesforce?
To reassign a meeting to another rep directly from Salesforce, click the "Reassign" button in the Salesforce Event. Learn how to configure the Reassign Button in Salesforce.

How do I reassign a meeting in Google?
If you use Google Calendar, make sure the Chili Piper Google Chrome Extension is installed for the reassignment button to show.
Once reassignments are enabled in preferences, you will see a Reassign button at the top right corner of each calendar invite.
After clicking the reassign option, you'll be able to select the correct queue and the rep you’d like to reassign the meeting.

How do I reassign a meeting in Outlook Web?
You should see the Instant Booker when clicking the "three dots" icon at the top right corner of each calendar invite.
Note: For this functionality to work, please ensure you have Installed the Outlook Add-in.
After clicking the reassign option, you'll be able to select the correct queue and the rep you’d like to reassign the meeting.
Note that users need a Handoff license to reassign meetings in Outlook Web.
How do I reassign a meeting in Outlook Desktop?

Additional Notes
- If the same teammate is not available, the software will recommend the best person to be assigned to the meeting.
- If the meeting is part of a round-robin algorithm, the meeting count is updated to count for the change.
- As a best practice, reassignment should only be done within the same queue in which the meeting was initially booked.
