By default, the app suggests the next user as the user with the fewest number of meetings to date based on the rules you set up.
Flexible Round Robin
If the queue is flexible, the user can "skip" the suggested user (the user with a star by their name) and select other users in the queue manually to book a meeting.
In this example - Nate was suggested as indicated by the star as the next Assignee, but other Assignees could be chosen.
This setting is helpful when you want to give your users the option to make other selections. This is what the setting looks like in the queue settings:
Strict Round Robin
In the case of a strict round robin:
The user can't select other users. They can only select the next user in line to receive a meeting. If the prospect wants to book a time that's unavailable for the next user in line, they have the option to select
Availability for all
In this example, Gaines cannot be skipped, but the booker can choose "Availability for All" to blindly pick a time for a different rep.
Note: Strict Round Robin does not affect meetings created through a web form or through a booking link. In those cases, Chili Piper will still round-robin to the next available rep and will not limit the booking to only the rep next up in queue. Strict round robin specifically affects a Booker's ability to select others within Instant Booker.
In these cases where a prospect books with another available rep, that rep is considered "skipped" in reporting as well.
