Initial setup
Chili Piper does offer "Hot" license administrators the ability to create a special "staging" setup for connecting with a Salesforce Sandbox environment. This instance can be completely separate from your main Chili Piper instance, which you can use for testing.
These staging environments are provided on a per-request basis, with coordination from our Customer Success onboarding team. If you are not sure who your CS rep is, please reach out to support@chilipiper.com, and we will be happy to direct you to them.
The same setup, permissions, and authorization will be required in your sandbox as is needed in production.
What's different?
The instance will be the same, except will have a .io extension on the domain name to differentiate it from your main production instance.
Benefits
As this is a staging setup connected to your sandbox environment, it may receive early access to new features in order for you to test and ensure they will work before we release to production. Please be sure to report any bugs you find here to support@chilipiper.com.
If connected to a sandbox Salesforce org, this will allow you to test how various changes to SFDC impact Chili Piper.
