The Vidyard × Chili Piper integration accelerates connection and reduces meeting drop-off. The moment a meeting is booked through Chili Piper, Vidyard’s Video Agent (via Zapier) automatically sends a personalized video from the assigned BDR’s AI Avatar.
These instant messages confirm meeting details, set clear expectations, and create a personal touchpoint that makes prospects more likely to show up. The result? Lower no-show rates, stronger early rapport, and smoother handoffs that keep deals moving forward.
In this article, we will quickly cover how to set up this integration to spice up your meeting cadence!
1 - Integrate Zapier with Chili Piper
During your setup, you will likely use Chili Piper-related triggers in Zapier to start your automated flow. To do that, we must ensure your Zapier instance is connected in Chili Piper.
- Log in to your Zapier account and create a Zap with Chili Piper. You will need to choose a Chili Piper account to use
- You will be prompted to enter your Chili Piper API token, which you (or an admin user) can find on your Chili Piper Integrations page. Once ready, click Yes, Continue
- If the integration is successful, optionally, you can test the integration by creating a test Zap workflow and booking a meeting via Chili Piper while using the Meeting Created trigger, for example.
- You can also get more familiar with which Chili Piper fields can be used in Zapier: Zapier Available Chili Piper Fields
2 - Create your Concierge Router
The Concierge Router will be responsible for qualifying, routing, displaying a calendar, and performing CRM actions for prospects who access it.
The setup has multiple features and options that can be used, so we recommend checking our dedicated article for it: Creating a Concierge Router
3 - Vidyard and Zapier Setup
After ensuring your Zapier instance is connected to Chili Piper and your Concierge Router is ready for action, there are some steps to complete in Vidyard to complete this workflow, including integrating Zapier there.
We recommend checking this detailed guide from Vidyard's Knowledge Base, or the video below, as the steps will be mainly done there and in Zapier now.
Additionally, Zapier created this documentation in their Integrations hub, which could be helpful for your Zapier setup.
4 - Test it!
Once the steps above are completed, we recommend testing to ensure any details can be adjusted before rolling out to customers!
