Setting up Slack/MS Teams notifications
Hey Chili Users!
Integrating Chili Piper with Slack and Teams can be a game-changer for your team's efficiency. Here are some steps and tips to get you started:
⚠️ Chat notifications can be set up only on Slack.
Here's an article about the Slack Integration Overview, showing some cool stuff that our integration can do and some key features!
I know you know what the integration can do, but why would I use that?
I could tell you lots of things about this integration, but I will focus on only two of them:
Visibility
- You'll have visibility of all booked, rescheduled, reassigned, and canceled meetings directly in your Slack, increasing productivity.
Real-time updates
- Since we always use Slack to communicate, we check our emails occasionally and may lose some updates from a meeting. With the Slack integration, you'll see the notification simultaneously with the meeting update.
Last but not least, I almost forgot to show you what kind of notifications are sent via Slack, and you can find the list in this article here.
I believe I convinced you about Slack, but what if you're using Teams? Well, I'll have to share an article with you since it has some steps and details to follow, so check more details here.
Another cool stuff that we can do is Create Slack Notifications for CRM API Alerts.
Users of our global integration are accustomed to receiving CRM API alerts through email. These alerts typically bear subjects like [SFDC] API Error or [Hubspot] API Error.
Occasionally, these emails might become misplaced in the inbox. Additionally, global integration users may prefer that more individuals within their company receive these error notifications. This could include a CRM administrator or a backup contact in case the integration user is out of office.
