Users x Admin Workspace Visibility
Hey, Chili users!
How have you been handling workspace-related permissions across your org?
When you assign users to a workspace, you might expect that the user has the same menu view as yourself.
What happens is that assigning a user to a workspace allows them to use the workspace's meeting types (templates) and can be added to queues and other workspace assets, but they'll not have the same view as you - who's a Super or Worskapce Admin.
If you'd like them to have edit access to the Workspace menu/settings, the user would need to either be a Super Admin or Workspace Admin.
You can follow these steps to set up a workspace admin:
- As an admin, open the desired Workspace.
- Select the Users tab in the left menu
- Search user by name and toggle on Admin access to team settings.
After these steps, the user should display the Workspace on the left-side menu.
Reinforcing that, if you don't want users to edit settings, the Admin role should ideally not be provided.
Tell us about your experience on assigning workspaces and how your team is working on admin-related tasks in Chili Piper - we would love to hear it!
