Setting the Lead/Contact Status field to a specific value

Have you ever considered setting a specific value to the LeadStatus field in Salesforce after a meeting is booked?
Share with us if you have already done this natively in Chili Piper!
We also have some tips to share about this.
Supposing that you want to write a specific and unique value to the LeadStatus field once a meeting is booked to simplify any reporting or automation in your CRM. For example, all Leads with LeadStatus = Scheduled will trigger an internal automation or help other teams to track those.
Within Chili Piper, there are some steps you can do to implement this natively.
1 - Meeting Type's UTM Tracking
In the UTM Tracking tab of the meeting type you would like to use for this purpose, you can set its Campaign Name, Campaign Source, Campaign Medium, Campaign Term, and Campaign Content:
Select the field you would like to use to include the required value.
2 - Workspace's CRM Actions
In the "UTM Tracking Actions", associate the field you included the value to the Status field.
Suppose that the value was included in the Campaign Name field, the association would look like this:
Although we covered a specific scenario in this post, these steps can also be used to write into other fields.
