A queue is a group of potential assignees based on specific rules you set up.
Assignee is a user to whom the meeting is booked for.
Booker is the user who books the meeting.
Queue Types - 3 Algorithms:
1. Round Robin
This is the most common Queue type.
Meetings are assigned to users in the queue based on a flexible round-robin algorithm. The next assignee to receive a meeting (user with the fewest number of meetings) is highlighted. This is what your users will see.
Example: Prioritize based on territory
- Within a "Round Robin" queue, you can set up rules based on regions/territories using Salesforce fields. See example
2. Prioritize routing based on ownership
- If an account/lead already has an owner, you can prioritize the meeting assignment to that owner. Learn how you can set up this kind of queue
3. Group meetings
- Invite multiple users to the same meeting automatically. See an example of how you can do group meetings
