Who can use this feature?
ChiliCommand facilitates the booking process by giving users access to Chili Piper’s current and future features with a couple of shortcuts. Users do not need to open the extension itself to perform some tasks.
Before covering each functionality below, it's worth mentioning that ChiliCommand's features have different functionalities depending on whether you have your e-mail composer open in one of our integrations (Salesforce, Gmail, Outlook, Frontspin, SalesLoft, etc), or not, so you'll notice two different sections to cover how the functionalities work depending on how you're using them; some functionalities are available in both scenarios.

Extension Download
The functionalities shown in this document require the ChiliCal extension (Co-Pilot) to be downloaded and installed in your browser. Before proceeding, we suggest downloading it here if you haven't yet.
Configuring ChiliCommand's Shortcut
By default, Chili Command's keyboard shortcut is "Command (or Ctrl) ⌘ + M", but this can be updated.
You can Access Chrome's Extensions menu by clicking the icon at the top right, clicking the "Manage Extensions" option, or typing chrome://extensions/ in the URL bar.
Once the Extensions page is open, select the "Keyboard shortcuts" option on the left side:
After that, locate the ChiliCal extension and update the Open Chili Piper Command Center setting to the shortcut you wish after clicking the pencil icon:
Extension Tour
After setting the shortcut that will be used to launch the ChiliCommand, you can use it to open it and click "Learn about the powerful booking tools" or use the shortcut command "Option (or Alt) ⌥ + 1", and enjoy an extension tour to learn more about what can be done.
This tour is only available to be viewed once.
Composer Open Mode
Insert Auto-Suggested Times
This option will be available only when an e-mail composer is open, helping automate the insert suggested times process even more.
- If you wish, you can include your Guests in the composer's "To" and "Cc" fields.
- After that, let's execute the ChiliCommand, and click "Insert Auto-Suggested Times" or use the shortcut command "Option (or Alt) ⌥ + 1".
- On the intermediate screen, a couple of settings will be displayed:
-
Meeting Type: The meeting type will contain the description, duration, reminders, and other associated assets. We will also use the availability settings for this meeting type to suggest the slots. Click here to find more details about Meeting Types.
-
Main Guest: You can choose which e-mail should be the Main Guest for this meeting.
-
Priority Meeting: When enabled, your Guest can book meetings over those you marked as flexible on your Priority Scheduling. Click here to learn more about this functionality.
There are also some extra - and unique - details to be taken into consideration:
- The times are generated based on available slots for the next two weeks according to their availability schedule in ChiliCal and their selected meeting settings.
- If the prospect exists in the user's Gmail account as a contact, we can use that data to fill out the form and make the suggested times one-click booking, as long as the form doesn't include any custom fields.
- If the prospect email exists in Clearbit, we also send the suggested times in Clearbit's timezone of the prospect.
Once done, click "Insert Times", and the magic will happen.
Insert my default scheduling link
This option will be available only when an e-mail composer is open, facilitating the booking process and communication with prospects. It can also be a great alternative to the suggested times option.
- You may include your Guests in the composer's "To" and "Cc" fields.
- After that, let's execute the ChiliCommand, and click "Insert my default scheduling link" or use the shortcut command "Option (or Alt) ⌥ + 3".
- On the intermediate screen, a couple of settings will be displayed:
-
Select Meeting Type: The meeting type will contain the description, duration, reminders, and other associated assets. We will also use the availability settings for this meeting type to suggest the slots. Click here to find more details about Meeting Types.
-
Main Guest: You can choose which e-mail should be the Main Guest for this meeting.
- Priority Meeting: When enabled, your Guest can book meetings over those you marked as flexible on your Priority Scheduling. Click here to learn more about this functionality.
This feature also has some details to be considered:
- If the prospect exists in the user's Gmail account as a contact, we can also use that data to fill out the form and make the suggested times one-click booking, as long as the form doesn't include any custom fields for this setting.
- If the meeting type selected is a team meeting type and the prospect exists as a Lead/Contact in Salesforce or a Contact in Hubspot, we simplify booking by only selecting a time and skipping the form as long as the form doesn't have any custom fields.
Once done, click "Insert Link", and that's it.
Insert My Personal Page Link
Like the option above, you can include your personal page link to facilitate communication and speed up the booking process with your prospect, where they can select the meeting type that best suits them (for example, Support Call, Implementation Call, Demo...)
After executing the ChiliCommand, click the "Insert My Personal Page Link" or use the shortcut command "Option (or Alt) ⌥ + 4". The link will be copied automatically to your e-mail composer.
All Scheduling Links
Like the "Insert my default scheduling link" option above, this one also facilitates communication and speeds up the booking process with your prospects. The main difference is that, with this option, you can select a link from a list of the ones you have access to.
- Insert the required guests in your e-mail composer's "To" and/or "Cc" fields as you wish and execute the ChiliCommand.
- After that, click "All Scheduling Links" or use the shortcut command "Option (or Alt) ⌥ + 5", and you'll see all meeting types you have access to.
- Once the link is selected, an intermediate screen, where you will select the following settings:
-
Select Meeting Type: The meeting type will contain the description, duration, reminders, and other associated assets.
Once done, click "Insert Link", and the job is done.
