Extension Download
The functionalities shown in this document require the ChiliCal extension (Co-Pilot) to be downloaded and installed in your browser. Before proceeding, we suggest downloading it here if you haven't yet.
How do I open the extension?
After downloading and installing, ChiliCal's Co-Pilot should be found in your Chrome's Extensions menu at the top right or by entering chrome://extensions/ in the URL bar.
We suggest pinning it to make it visible in the browser and easier to find and initiate.
Functionalities
Let's cover which functionalities you will find in ChiliCal's Co-Pilot to make your routine easier!
After opening the Co-Pilot (extension), it will pop up on your browser's right side with an initial view of the meetings you have access to (and a search bar to find them easier), settings, and the option to open ChiliCal's Scheduler from there.
My Links
Once you open the extension, you will notice a "My Links" tab that lists all Meeting Types created in MyApp (Personal) or Team Workspaces.
After you find the Meeting Types you would like to use, you will see some options that can be used to facilitate your booking process.
-
Copy Link: This option will copy the Meeting Types booking link associated with your calendar to share it with stakeholders.
-
Copy Single-Use Link: Click the three dots to find the "Copy Single-Use Link" option. This one will do the same as the above; the difference is that the copied link can only be used once. It will be "destroyed" once the meeting is booked, and every time you use this option for the same link, a new link will be generated. This is useful if you do not want stakeholders to book meetings on your calendar without prior notice.
-
Copy Priority Link: After clicking the three dots, this option will copy your Meeting Type booking link, following any Priority Scheduling settings you may have for this Meeting Type.
Click here to learn more about the Priority Scheduling functionality.
You can also mark any Meeting Types as favorite, grouping them under the "Favorite" bucket and facilitating your search:
My Team Links
This tab can be found right next to the "My Links" tab we covered in the previous section, and it lists your Team's links.
It should be useful for scenarios where, for example, you are an SDR and would like to share a Customer Success colleague's link with a prospect so they can start their onboarding process.
Use the search bar or scroll down until you find the colleague you are looking.
Similar to My Links, there are a couple of options to be explored:
-
Copy user default link: This option will copy the default booking link associated with your colleague's calendar to share it with stakeholders.
-
Copy Single-Use Link: By clicking the three dots, you should find the "Copy Single-Use Link" option. This one will do the same as the above; the difference is that the copied link can be used one-time only, meaning that it will be "destroyed" once the meeting is booked, and every time you use this option for the same link, a new link will be generated. This is useful if you do not want stakeholders to book meetings on your calendar without prior notice, for example.
-
Copy Priority Link: After clicking the three dots, this option will copy your Meeting Type booking link, following any Priority Scheduling settings you may have for this Meeting Type. Click here to learn more about the Priority Scheduling functionality.
- See all links: If you need more links from your colleague, click the arrow next to the three dots. You will then have access to all their links. The same options above will also be available.
You can also click the star icon next to their names to favorite anyone so you can search for the next time you need to share a link. This should be useful if you regularly share a colleague's link as part of your routine, saving search time.
Round Robin Links
This tab is right next to the "My Team Links" tab. It contains all Round-Robin Scheduling Links created by your Admins, to which you have access per workspace.
There, you can search for specific links, copy them, or mark the ones you use most as favorites:
ChiliCal Scheduler - Book a Meeting
ChiliCal's Scheduler can be launched from the extension, making booking easier and faster.
At the bottom, include the prospect's e-mail and hit return/Enter; ChiliCal's Scheduler will be displayed.
Over there, you can select the meeting host (yourself or a colleague) and timezone, include or remove guests, and adjust your meeting details like the template, duration, description, and so on.
Click here to learn more about the ChiliCal Scheduler.
Settings
To access the settings below, click the Settings icon right next to the search bar:
Change Theme
Within this option, you can change your extension's theme between Light and Dark:
Link display text
After opening the extension in one of our integrations, you can adjust the phrasing displayed when inserting your booking link.
Suggested Times Color
Before proceeding, you may be unable to update the coloring/styling here if one of your Admins locks the branding settings at the organizational level.
This option will be helpful if you use the Insert Suggested Times functionality and would like the meeting slots to match your company's branding, for example.
You can also type a hexadecimal value directly instead of hovering over the colors board. Once you've done this, hit return/enter.
