Who can use this feature?
If you want to integrate the Concierge scheduler with your webform and route prospects based on rules built among form values, you must map your form fields to Chili Piper Data Fields.
Mapping your webform is an important step to ensure the prospect's data is properly captured, used to correctly route, and later updated in your CRM, depending on your setup.
In this article, we will cover the form mapping process in Concierge Fire in more detail:

Setup your Data Fields
Mapping your form field to Data Fields will allow you to qualify your prospects based on the form values they have entered in your form.
These fields are configured in the Admin Center and are reusable in other Chili Piper products like Chat and ChiliCal. Data Fields can also be mapped to your CRM fields to ensure visitor data is always in sync with your CRM records.
If you need more details about Data Fields, we recommend checking the dedicated article here before proceeding with the next steps.
How to Map in the Concierge Router?
First, enable the Webform is submitted option in the Trigger node. After that, you can map your form.
During the mapping setup, you will find two options available (Automap or Manual mapping). We will cover them below!
Automap
Click Find Form and paste the website page link where your form is located. Then click Find Form in the modal. Once we have found your form, click Map Fields, and we will work to map your form fields to Chili Piper's Data Fields.
Manual Mapping
For Manual Mapping, click Add Mapping, enter your form field name, and map it to a Data Field.
If you need more clarity on how to find your Form Field Names, we recommend checking the section below: How to find your form field names?
Hidden Fields
When adding fields to your Concierge form in Chili Piper, you can also add any hidden fields you have on your form. Hidden fields are often used for tracking or to pass information that you don't need a prospect to fill out in a form.
If the field is hidden on your web form provider it will stay hidden and you will map it as normal in Trigger > Webform is Summited section.
If you are adding form fields for when you are sending Concierge links. You add the Data Field that should be hidden, mark it as hidden, and add the value you want to be passed.
How to find your Form Field Names?
We will use the example below in the step-by-step for better context:
- Navigate to the page on your website where the form is installed
- Right Click, Inspect on the form field you would like to map
- Look for name= in the code
- The field API name is the entire string in quotes following name=
- In the example above, the form field name for the Phone Number field is "phone".
The instructions for finding form field names in Safari or Google Chrome are also under the Manual Mapping section within the router Trigger.
Which fields should be mapped?
You must map at least the email form field to the Email data field. This will allow us to qualify the prospect based on CRM data—we will use the email address to find the record in your CRM. It will also allow us to send them the calendar invite after they book the meeting.
You should map other fields when:
1. You want to update your CRM record with the form field data
Your router must have a node to Create/Update your CRM record. This node will only update the CRM records fields mapped in the router.
If your form has multiple fields, but you map only Email, First Name, and Last Name, these are the only fields that will be updated in your CRM record.
Remember to toggle the Overwrite button in the required Data Fields to have the new value provided in the form overwriting the previous one in your CRM!

2. You want to use the form field data to route your prospects
For example, if you wish to route prospects based on the Company Size they enter in the form, you need to map this form field to the respective Chili Piper Data Field. Then, you can create Data Field-related Rules to route your prospects.
Here's how the mapping looks in the Router's Trigger:
