π Duplicate Matching
From the Duplicate Match tab you have Lead to Contact, Lead to Lead, Contact to Contact, and Contact to Lead. What matching can do is match to an existing record if it exists. It works in 3 different steps:
- Duplicate Rules: We are leveraging duplicate rules that are in Salesforce. Your duplicate rules work together with your matching rules to prevent users from creating duplicate records. A matching rule determines whether the record a user is creating or updating is similar enough to other records to be considered a duplicate, whereas a duplicate rule tells Salesforce what action to take when duplicates are identified. For example, a duplicate rule can block users from saving records that have been identified as possible duplicates, or simply alert users that they may be creating a duplicate, but allow them to save the record anyway.
- Filtering: Refine matches if the algorithm has multiple records
- Tie Breakers: If there are multiple matches, select the priority of the conditions to 'tiebreak' and find the best match
π Opportunity creation node
On the Flow Builder, weβll allow the admin to add a new node on a path to create a new Opportunity record in Salesforce.
This node can be added to any routers for Account or Contact Trigger.
