Who can use this feature?
Connect your LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms to Chili Piper so prospects can book a meeting the moment they submit your form. LinkedIn passes the prospect's email, first name, and last name into Chili Piper, so they go straight to picking a time instead of filling in their details again.

How it works
- A prospect opens your Lead Gen Form from a LinkedIn ad. LinkedIn pre-fills the form from their profile;
- After they submit, the confirmation invites them to book an appointment;
- Clicking Book now opens your Chili Piper booking experience with the prospect's email, first name, and last name already passed through;
- Concierge qualifies and routes the prospect to the right rep, and they pick a time. With a ChiliCal Scheduling Link, the prospect books directly with the rep or team the link belongs to.
Before you start
You will need:
- A Chili Piper booking link – either a Concierge Router with the Router link is clicked or Router link form is submitted trigger, or a ChiliCal Scheduling Link;
- Access to LinkedIn Campaign Manager with permission to create Lead Gen Forms. LinkedIn requires the ad account to be associated with a LinkedIn Page.
Step 1: Set up Smart Parameters for the passed fields
LinkedIn sends the prospect's details as linkedin_email, linkedin_firstname, and linkedin_lastname. Add these as Smart Parameters on your Data Fields so Chili Piper recognises them:
- In the Command Center, go to Data Fields;
- Open the Email data field;
- Under Additional Settings, add
linkedin_emailin the Smart Parameter field; - Repeat for First Name with
linkedin_firstname, and Last Name withlinkedin_lastname.
⚠️ Warning: This step is required. Without these Smart Parameters, the prospect's details are not passed from the Lead Gen Form and they fill in the booking form from scratch.
For more on Smart Parameters, see Passing Smart Parameters for Data Fields.
Step 2: Copy your Chili Piper booking link
Use whichever link type fits your funnel:
| Link type | Use when | Format |
|---|---|---|
| Concierge Router link | You want to qualify the prospect and route them to the right rep or team | https://yourdomain.chilipiper.com/concierge-router/link/ROUTER_NAME |
| ChiliCal Scheduling Link | You want the prospect to book directly, with no qualification step | Round robin example: https://yourdomain.chilipiper.com/round-robin/LINK_NAME
|
Any ChiliCal Scheduling Link type works: one-on-one, round robin, ownership, or group.
Step 3: Add the link to your Lead Gen Form
In LinkedIn Campaign Manager:
- Go to Assets, then select Lead Gen Forms;
- Click Create form and complete the form sections;
- In the Confirmation section, under Link users to, select Book an appointment;
- Paste your Chili Piper booking link into the Booking URL field;
- Click Agree & Create.
Note: The Booking URL field accepts up to 200 characters. Both Chili Piper link types fit comfortably within this limit.
For LinkedIn's own documentation on this setting, see Add an appointment booking option to your Lead Gen Form.
What your prospect sees
The prospect opens your Lead Gen Form from the ad. LinkedIn pre-fills their details from their profile:
After they submit, the confirmation invites them to book:
Clicking Book now opens the Chili Piper scheduler. Their details are already passed through, so the prospect lands directly on time selection for the rep your routing selects:
If your Concierge Router's form asks questions beyond email, first name, and last name, the form opens with those three fields pre-filled and the prospect completes the remaining questions before seeing the calendar.
What information is passed
The following Lead Gen Form fields are passed to Chili Piper:
- Email;
- First name;
- Last name.
Other Lead Gen Form answers (for example company size or job title) are not passed to Chili Piper. They remain available in Campaign Manager and through LinkedIn's lead sync integrations.
Note: Email, first name, and last name are the first fields covered by the integration. Support for additional Lead Gen Form fields is to be confirmed.
Going beyond the passed fields with Post-Form Enrichment
If your routing needs data the Lead Gen Form does not pass – or data you prefer not to ask prospects for – add an Enrichment node to your Concierge Router. After the prospect arrives from LinkedIn, the Enrichment node enriches their record from the email address, so your routing rules can use company size, industry, country, and other firmographic fields without adding a single form question.
This pairing keeps the LinkedIn flow short for the prospect while giving your routing the same depth as a full-length form. See How do I set up Post-Form Enrichment in Concierge? for setup.
Limitations
- Only email, first name, and last name are passed to Chili Piper. Additional Lead Gen Form fields are not carried over;
- LinkedIn does not offer the appointment booking option on message ads or conversation ads.
