Who can use this feature?
In this article, we will learn what Orchestrator is, who it is built for, and where to find detailed guidance for each node used to build a Flow.

What Is Orchestrator?
Orchestrator is Chili Piper's GTM Control Layer. It listens for signals across Chili Piper and external tools, makes decisions about what should happen next, and takes action.
For example, a prospect no-shows a meeting, and Orchestrator catches it and enrolls them in a re-engagement cadence automatically. A high-value lead abandons a form, and Orchestrator alerts the account owner on Slack before the intent goes cold.
Think of it as the layer that sits between signals (meetings, forms, chat) and actions (cadences, Slack alerts, API calls). Without Orchestrator, those signals fire and someone has to manually decide what to do. With Orchestrator, the decision and the action happen automatically, in seconds.
Who Is Orchestrator Built For?
RevOps and Tech Marketers
These are the people who build and manage Flows day to day. They understand GTM motions and are comfortable configuring tools, often stitching together manual workflows today. Orchestrator gives them a visual, no-code way to automate what they are currently doing by hand: connect a Flow to Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, or Salesloft, and have it running in minutes.
Non-Technical Marketers
Marketers who do not need to know what a webhook, JSON, or an API is. Orchestrator uses plain language and visual building blocks, so a Flow can be built without reading documentation.
CMOs and VPs of Demand Gen
Leaders who care about pipeline and revenue, not individual leads: whether the GTM motion is working, and where pipeline is being lost.
Note: Orchestrator is built for anyone who touches a GTM motion. The person building Flows is usually RevOps or a tech-savvy marketer; the people benefiting are reps, managers, and leadership.
Explore the Nodes
Each node in Orchestrator has its own article covering what it does and how to set it up:
- Trigger nodes
- Delay node
- Matching node
- Condition node
- Routing Rule node
- Sales Engagement nodes (Salesloft, Outreach, Gong Engage)
- Slack Notification node
- Create Record node
- Update Record node
