Who can use this feature?
Hubspot integration is optimal for any organization relying on HubSpot as its CRM. All visitor and prospect data between Chili Piper and HubSpot needs to be synced in real time.
In this article, we will quickly cover how to set up your integration and the minimum permission scope required for Global Sync users.
How to Setup?
To set up the integration, you will first need your HubSpot admin to connect HubSpot via the Integrations page in the Admin Center.
Once connected, you will notice a "Connected" flag, as shown in the screenshot below:
You can use the Reconnect button to reconnect the account for any reason or replace the current integration user.
HubSpot Scope and Minimum Permissions
Please review the following steps to ensure your users can access Chili Piper via HubSpot CRM. These steps are to be completed directly in HubSpot CRM.
Connecting to HubSpot
If you have not connected Chili Piper to HubSpot CRM for the first time, a Super Admin will be asked to accept the following scopes during the initial connection:
Edit Users
The first step is to browse to Settings -> Users & Teams within HubSpot CRM. From the users list, select the user or multiple users if you want to edit in batch and click Edit Permissions.
CRM Objects (CRM Tab)
Under that user's CRM Object permissions, if a user does not inherit the permissions as "on", ensure that you have enabled Contacts, Companies, and Tickets for the users.
Settings (Accounts tab)
Select Settings access under that user's Accounts section, and ensure that Edit property settings and App Marketplace access are enabled.
