Installing the Chili Piper app in HubSpot
- When one of your Chili Piper Admins establishes your org's integration with HubSpot, the app should be included during the initial setup's permission scope approval.
- The app can also be installed via HubSpot's Marketplace by clicking Install App. Users must be either a HubSpot Super Admin or have App Marketplace Access permissions to connect apps to their HubSpot account.
If you do not have permission to connect the app, you may see a Request to Install button enabled so one of your HubSpot Admins can be notified and approve it.
How to find and use the Chili Piper app in HubSpot?
- Log in to HubSpot and open an existing Contact
- At the right-hand side of the Contact's page, you should find the app called Chili Piper ChiliCal
- Click Book to trigger the Scheduler and start the booking process with the selected Contact.
If you are not logged in to Chili Piper in your browser, you may be prompted with Chili Piper's login screen. - After logging in, depending on your licenses and use-case, you can either use the Handoff Scheduler or ChiliCal's Scheduler. Click the articles below to check more details about them:
- If you are also a Handoff user, you can switch between Handoff and ChiliCal in the top-left by clicking the Switch to my Calendar (Handoff to ChiliCal) or the Switch to Handoff (ChiliCal to Handoff) button.
The Scheduler will open based on the last choice you made, meaning that if you worked in Handoff last time, the next time it opens, it will open in Handoff.
