As a user, managing your working hours can easily be set up in a few clicks.
First, navigate to your personal settings by clicking your name in the lower left of Chili Piper, then choosing "Working Hours" to edit your availability.
In this article, we cover a few different use cases that can be set up there:
Normal Working Hours
This is the most common use case among teams. If you're working the 9-5 life then simply set your hours for Monday-Friday accordingly.
Weekend Warriors
Some users at Chili Piper are hardcore and work hard on weekend. If you only want to be available for the weekend and don't want to get meetings on your calendar during the work week (Monday-Friday) then click the checkbox for working hours on Saturday and Sunday and deselect Monday-Friday
Offset Working Hours
This is another common use case for users that may like to work long hours on certain days and short hours on other days. Example: Monday, Wednesday Friday you may work from 8 am to 7 pm and only want to be free from 10 am to 2 pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
Working Hour Blocks
This is uncommon for most users but proves to be quite a useful functionality. As an example, maybe you never want meetings to be scheduled for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
In that case, select the + button to make sure you add chunks of available slots. Ex: Monday 8-12 pm + 1 pm-5 pm - this will make sure you do not get booked for meetings during your precious lunch break :)
