Who can use this feature?
Available on ChiliCal Handoff
Available to Admins
During the booking process, your reps' calendars will be visible for themselves or other users playing the booker role so they can book a meeting in an available slot.
That said, you may not want the calendar event titles from your reps to be visible to others to protect their privacy or for any other specific reason you may have.
An Admin can control the calendar title visibility in Chili Piper by following the steps below:
- Navigate to the Admin Center's Integrations page:
- Click the Preferences tab:
- Straight away, you will find the Visibility of Calendar Events setting with two options to be selected.
We recommend aligning this setting to your org's Google or Microsoft setting, but that's entirely up to you!
-
Show Event Titles: If this option is selected, bookers can see the assignee's calendar event titles. For example, if an assignee has a block called Lunch, the booker can see Lunch in the event title.
-
Show only Free/Busy: This option is indicated if you want to hide the assignee's calendar titles for more privacy. Bookers can see only Free or Busy, depending on the event state, but will not see each event's title.
In this case, if an assignee has a busy block called Lunch, the booker will only see a Busy slot without further details about which specific event it is.
Here's one example of what it looks like in Handoff when this option is selected. Notice how the slots show as Busy, but with no title and no further details except the event's start and end time.
