Which Benefits can I take from this integration?

When the calendar is integrated at the tenant level, it allows Chili Piper to read the free/busy status of any users that the tenant-level integration user has access to. It's important to mention that reading the free/busy status of events does not include any additional details related to the event (for example: event title, guest list, location, etc.)

While most organizations allow for free/busy access to internal employee's calendars, there are always exceptions to the rule. Due to this, we still recommend all end-users connect to their calendars to ensure 100% availability accuracy.

Requirements

Within Chili Piper itself, the calendar integration user does not need to be a licensed Chili Piper user.

We recommend checking the articles below to ensure your org gives the Chili Piper app the required permissions, and the calendar integration user (and other users) will be able to establish their connection. The permission scopes below will need to be set by a GSuite or Microsoft instance admin user.
