Who can use this feature?
Available on Handoff
Available to Admins Workspace Managers
This feature was created to help route prospects based on who's booking the meeting instead of using SFDC fields/values to determine the path. It can be helpful in scenarios where, for example, meetings booked by certain SDRs should go to another particular group of AEs.
This article will teach us how to create these routing rules for Handoff in Fire so we can easily route our prospects using the Booked By object.
How to set up your Booked By condition?
- On the left-hand menu, look for Rules under Assets and create a new one. Depending on your use case, it can be either CRM Ownership or Non-Ownership.
-
Once you see the Rule creation page, we can set a name and click Add Condition
-
Once the condition opens, look for the Meeting Object, and the Booker field will appear in the dropdown. For the booker, we can use the following values:
Id
Email
Full Name
First Name
Is Admin
- In our example, we are looking for the Booker's email. This way, we can tell our Handoff Router to which path a prospect should be routed to if they match the Booker's email.
- Once the setup is done, we can publish and apply our rule in our Handoff Routers!
