How to Reassign a Meeting
When Reassigning a meeting with Chili Piper, you are booking a new meeting for another user. Reassignment will take into account your Handoff/ChiliCal User controls and the Distribution settings of the meeting booked. Below are the various places where you can Reassign meetings.
Â
Meetings Activity
The Meeting Activity Dashboard is available to admins and holds all Meetings scheduled in your workspace. You can go ahead and navigate to this article to explore more details about Meeting Activity.
Â
1. Expand the "Reporting" section in the left-hand side menu, then navigate to the Meetings Activity. This feature is only available for Admins.
Â
2. Find the meeting you want to reassign and click "Open".
3. An information panel with all meeting details will open on the right-hand side. Click the icon to the right of the host's name.Â
This will present a pop-up with the option to edit the Meeting or Reassign Meeting. If there are no changes and the person you want to reassign to is known and available, you can select them from the list and hit Reassign.
If you choose Edit Meeting, this will open the scheduler in a new tab. From here, you can switch between Handoff or ChiliCal scheduler based on how you would like to Reassign the meeting.
Â
4. You will be brought into the scheduler and the Distribution where the meeting was booked. This will function similarly to the Handoff or ChiliCal scheduler and respect the settings you have configured - for example, whether you allow rescheduling with any team member or not. You can change the Distribution, Team, or Individual. You cannot change the Meeting Type or Workspace.
Â
5. Once in the Scheduler, select the correct assignee, choose a time slot, make any necessary edits, and book the meeting.
Â
6. Chili Piper should update the invite accordingly with the new assignee's name, links, and other details that possibly changed from one assignee to another.
Â
ChiliCal's MyApp
MyApp is the End-User Hub for all things ChiliPiper. You will be able to Reassign meetings on your calendar in MyApp. End Users will automatically be brought here when logging into Chili Piper. Admins can access it via the left-hand menu.
1. Within the Schedule (calendar), find the meeting you want to reassign and click on it.
