Who can use this feature?
Enrichment with Chili Piper Credits lets you enable LeadIQ enrichment directly through Chili Piper, without a separate LeadIQ contract. Each enrichment action draws from your Chili Piper credit wallet, so you can start enriching records in minutes and pay only for what you use.
This article covers how to enable credit-based enrichment and how credits are consumed. To learn how enrichment works and where you can use it, see How do I set up enrichment? For a full overview of how credits work, see Understanding Chili Piper Credits.

What is enrichment with Chili Piper Credits?
Enrichment fills in missing data about a person or company, such as job title, company size, or industry. To use it, you connect a data provider to Chili Piper.
There are two ways to connect LeadIQ for enrichment:
- Via Chili Piper Credits (Beta) — No LeadIQ subscription is required. LeadIQ enrichment is available directly through Chili Piper, and usage draws from your Chili Piper credit wallet
- Via your own LeadIQ account — Requires a LeadIQ Enterprise subscription. You connect using your own API key.
Credits are Chili Piper's unit for AI-powered features. Each plan includes an annual credit allocation, and you can purchase additional credits at any time.
Note: Credit-based enrichment applies to LeadIQ. Other providers, such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Lusha, require a direct connection with your own account.
Credit costs
You can enrich any available person or organization data point. Credits are charged per enrichment action, based on whether you are enriching person data, organization data, or both:
| Enrichment action | Credit cost |
| Person data | 4 credits |
| Organization data | 10 credits |
| Person and organization data together | 14 credits |
Two rules keep costs predictable:
- The number of fields does not change the cost. Enriching one person field or five person fields costs the same 4 credits. The same applies to organization data
- You are not charged twice within the same flow. If enrichment runs in more than one part of a flow, for example to shorten a form and again after the form is submitted, you are charged only once for the person data and once for the organization data requested.
How to enable enrichment with credits
- Go to Admin Center → Integrations → Data Providers → LeadIQ.
- Click Enable, then select Via Chili Piper Credits (Beta).
- A confirmation dialog appears noting how many waterfall sequences LeadIQ is used in, and that enabling it will consume credits each time enrichment runs. Click Enable to confirm.
Once enabled, no further setup is required. LeadIQ enrichment draws from your Chili Piper credit wallet automatically.
⚠️ Warning: Credits mode and a direct LeadIQ API key are mutually exclusive. Enabling one will disable the other.
Using enrichment
After LeadIQ is enabled with credits, it runs wherever LeadIQ is part of your enrichment waterfall, across all flows and the Meeting Prep Agent. Credits are deducted automatically each time an enrichment action runs.
Inside any enrichment node, you will see a credit cost indicator next to the LeadIQ provider badge, so you know the cost before you configure it.
For step-by-step guidance on building waterfall sequences and mapping fields, see How do I set up enrichment?
Monitoring credit usage
You can review credit consumption at any time in Admin Center → Billing → Credit log. Each entry shows the action, timestamp, and credits used.
If your credit balance runs low, you will receive in-app warnings at 20% and 10% of your allocation. You can top up at any time in Admin Center → Billing → Buy Credits.
Note: If your wallet reaches zero, credit-based enrichment pauses until you replenish it. Flows that do not rely on credit-based enrichment continue running unaffected.
Limitations
- Credit-based enrichment is available for LeadIQ only. Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Lusha require a direct connection with your own account
- Credits mode and a direct LeadIQ API key cannot be active at the same time. Enabling one disables the other
- If the credit wallet reaches zero, enrichment actions that use credits will fail until credits are replenished
- Flows or actions that do not rely on credit-based enrichment continue running unaffected.
