Who can use this feature?
Lift AI scores every website visitor’s likelihood to buy in real time. Connecting Lift AI to Chili Piper lets you use that intent — as a 0 to 100 score or as a Low, Medium, or High segment — inside Web Experience rules so the right visitors see the right Chat journey, Announcement, or Offer.

Prerequisites
Before connecting Lift AI, make sure you have:
- An active Lift AI subscription with the Lift AI tracking script installed on pages where your Chili Piper Web Experiences run;
- At least one deployed Web Experience:
- Chat
- Announcement
- Offer
Note
No additional code changes are required once the Lift AI script is installed. Chili Piper reads the intent score and segment from Lift AI in real time.
Connect Lift AI in Chili Piper
- Navigate to Admin Center.
- Open Deanonymization Data Provider.
- Locate the Lift AI tile and click Enable.
- Confirm the pop-up when prompted.
That's it — no API key or additional configuration is required.
Important
Ensure the Lift AI tracking script is installed on the same pages where your Web Experiences run. This allows Chili Piper to retrieve the visitor's intent score and segment.
Note
Lift AI can be enabled alongside supported providers such as 6sense, Bombora, and Leadfeeder. Multiple enabled providers will not create conflicts.
Use Lift AI in Web Experience rules
After Lift AI is connected, a new object named De-Anonymized Person becomes available in the rule builder.
This object exposes two attributes:
- Intent score — a numeric value from 0–100
- Intent segment — Low, Medium, or High
These attributes can be used in:
- Web Experience triggers to determine whether an experience should appear;
- Downstream Chat journey rules to determine which path a visitor follows after engaging.
The De-Anonymized Person object is available across:
- Chat journeys
- Announcements
- Offers
Recommendation
Use Intent score with an "equal to or greater than" condition. For example, setting Intent score ≥ 70 allows you to engage visitors only after they reach a meaningful level of buying intent.
Example Use Cases
- Display a "Talk to Sales Now" Offer when Intent segment equals High;
- Route visitors with an Intent score ≥ 80 into a higher-touch Chat path;
- Suppress an Announcement for visitors whose Intent segment equals Low.
Good to Know
- Requires an active Lift AI subscription;
- Lift AI intent is currently supported only in Web Experiences and is unavailable in Concierge;
- Intent values are evaluated only when a rule executes. Changes to a visitor’s score or segment will not retroactively re-evaluate an already active session.
