Here's what's new from April through September 2026 in the assets every Chili Piper product uses (Rules, Teams, Distributions, and Reminders) and in meetings, reporting, and administration: an AI assistant to build your assets, Assignment Tables, fairer distributions, folders, simpler navigation, more control over what guests see, reminders that come from your reps, one view of every meeting, and safer user management.
Shared Assets
๐ Chili Assist
Chili Assist is an AI assistant built into the admin UI. Describe what you want in plain language, and it builds it for you. You review the change on the page and save it with the usual Publish button.
What it helps with:
- Rules: routing rules, including ownership rules and cross-object references
- Teams: groups of users used by distributions and ownership rules
- Distributions: configuration, weights, and Credit/Skip calibration
- Logs: ask questions in plain language to understand what happened to a record
Where to find it: the Chili Assist icon in the top right of the Rules, Teams, Distributions, and Logs pages.
How do I use Chili Assist to build Rules, Teams, and Distributions?
๐ Random Tie-Breaks in Distributions
When several members are tied on credits, and any of them could be next, Chili Piper can pick one at random instead of always taking the first in the list.
Why it matters: always picking the first member skewed volume toward whoever sat at the top of the list over time.
Where to find it: set the Workspace default under Distributions, then Credits and Adjustments, then Tie-Break Order. Each Distribution can inherit that default or choose As Configured or Random.

๐ Folders for Rules and Concierge Flows
Group Rules and Concierge Flows into named folders. Click Create Folder at the top right of the list, then drag rows in, one or several at a time. Folders open fast, even for long lists.
Things to note:
- Deleting a folder moves its contents back to the main list. Nothing inside is deleted
- A Rule has to be published before it can go into a folder
๐ Assignment Tables
Keep your territory map in one table instead of building a path for every territory. Fifty territories become fifty rows, with one Assignment Rule pointing at the table.
What you can do:
- Route by country, state, or postal code
- Segment by picklists, with several values per cell
- Assign each row to a user or a Distribution
- Download, edit, and upload the table as a CSV
- See the matched row in the logs
How it works:
- Build the table under Rules, then Assignment Tables
- Create an Assignment Rule that uses it
- Select that rule in a Routing Rule node in a Distro flow
Things to note:
- Rows are checked top-down, and the first match wins
- A CSV upload replaces every row in the table
- An empty cell only matches an empty value, unless "Treat empty cells as a match" is on
- Works in Distro, Concierge, and Web flows today

๐ Reminders as a Reusable Asset
Reminders appear in the navigation under Meeting Types as their own asset. They were always shared behind the scenes, but editing one inside a Meeting Type didn't make it clear that the change applied everywhere. Now they're easier to manage and reuse across Meeting Types.
๐ Simpler Navigation
The navigation menu is shorter and better organized:
- Related items are grouped together
- All flow-building (Concierge, Web Experiences, Handoff, and Distro) lives under one Flow item
- Chat AI is a Chili Agent, and Knowledge Base is an asset other agents can use
- Search helps you find anything that moved
๐ Rich Slack Notifications
Slack notifications in Distro and Chat support Slack's formatting:
- Tag people or teams, either fixed or from a Slack ID stored on a Salesforce field
- Add links with custom text, and mailto links
- Use @everyone, @here, or @channel
- Format with bold, italic, strikethrough, and quotes
In Chat, tags that reference guest data need that data collected earlier in the flow.
Meetings and Admin
๐ Hide the Host's Email from External Guests
You can keep hosts' and reps' email addresses off what external guests receive, so guests stay in your booking and support flow instead of emailing reps directly.
How it works: On a Team or Personal Meeting Type, choose the guest notification mode Send an email confirmation. Then:
- External guests get an email from Chili Piper with a calendar attachment that lists only them, not the host, booker, or assignees
- Internal attendees still get a normal calendar event between themselves
- You choose where guest replies go: Host, Booker, or No-reply
Things to note: this applies to new bookings only. How the calendar attachment appears depends on the guest's email client.
๐ Reminders from the Host's or Booker's Email
Reminders can come from the host's or booker's own address instead of a generic reminder address, so they read like a normal email from the person the guest is meeting, and replies go straight to them.
Before you start: this needs a verified custom email domain. If a host is on a different domain, the Reminder falls back to your domain's reminder address, with replies still going to the host.
How to Set Up Custom Email Domains
๐ Meeting Prep Reads Cases and Tickets
Meeting Prep briefs can draw on Salesforce Cases and HubSpot Tickets for the guest's account. The setting is off by default, so turn it on to use it.
๐ Every Meeting in One Report
The Meetings report in the Command Center shows every meeting across your organization in one table, including meetings booked through Personal Links, which admins couldn't see before.
What you can do:
- See past and upcoming meetings together in one date range
- Filter and sort by Created date, the day a meeting was first booked, which doesn't change on reschedule
- Filter by Workspace, Team, Distribution, meeting type (personal or admin), and assignee
Things to note: filtering by Team shows ownership-assigned meetings only, so use the Distribution filter for round-robin meetings. Team and Distribution columns aren't in the CSV export yet.
Where to find it: Command Center, then Reports.
๐ Users Table for Workspace Managers
Workspace Managers have their own Users table under Assets, then Users, showing only their Workspace's users. They can edit team membership, while roles, licenses, and workspaces are read-only. The organization-wide Users table in the Command Center is Admin-only, so Workspace Managers can no longer change organization-wide roles.

๐ Multiple SAML Identity Providers
A tenant can register more than one SAML identity provider for single sign-on, and a rejected SSO login now shows a clear access-denied message.
